  • Clean acetate bands with a soft cloth and mild soap
  • Use a jewelry cloth to polish metal components

Watchband Resizing + Connector Guide

Every Universal Fit Apple Watch Band includes a complimentary resizing kit with two interchangeable connector pieces — one fits Apple Watch 38 / 40 / 41 mm cases, the other fits 42 / 44 / 45 mm cases.

To resize your band:

Remove the connectors from each end of the band using the included spring-bar tool.

Pop out a single link from each side of the band to shorten — keep removed links in the resizing pouch in case you need them later.

Re-insert the connector pieces and slide the spring bars back into place.


Connector swap: if you change Apple Watch sizes, swap the connector pieces from the resizing kit to fit your new case.

  • How do I resize my Watch Band?

    Each band ships with a resizing kit and QR code you can scan to follow step by step instructions. You can also view our guide here.

  • What if it's too small?

    If you need additional links please email your order number and length required to our customer service team mhq@shopmachete.pro

  • The connector doesn't fit my watch. What should I do?

    Follow the instructions here to swap out your connector if needed (default size on band when shipped is 38 / 40 / 41 mm.

    If a connector still won't seat, double-check you're using the size that matches your case.

  • My band isn't attaching properly.

    Make sure the connector is fully seated until you hear it click. Also the connector needs to be facing up to secure correctly. If the band still doesn't lock, contact us at mhq@shopmachete.pro with a photo and we can help.

  • What if my band breaks?

    All MACHETE bands are backed by our 1-year craftsmanship warranty. If your band breaks under normal wear within the first year, we'll repair or replace it. Email mhq@shopmachete.pro with photos and your order number.

  • Can I return or exchange my band?

    Yes — unworn bands in original packaging can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Engraved or final-sale items are non-returnable. Start a return at shopmachete.pro/pages/returns.
